Fall is here and I have fallen in love again! How can anything, honestly, be more beautiful that the leaves so red and orange, with whole mountains looking like they are on fire almost! Well, maybe those same trees covered in snow? Or under the crisp light of the moon? Or with a huge rainbow above them and grey clouds all around? Or with the newest fresh blossoms?
There are so many amazing things around us! I can not believe how beautiful this Earth is!
I often think about the scripture Alma 30:44 that says "... all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."
How could there not be a God? How could this wonderful, beautiful, amazing world and universe just fall into place? I love that everything around proves that God exists! I love that He is a loving and caring and generous Heavenly Father that wants everything for us! We are so blessed!

Conference
We have enjoyed a wonderful weekend full of inspiration and guidance. I love General Conference weekend!
I love to hear the Prophet! He is always so loving and kind and such a wonderful disciple of Christ! I know he is a true prophet. I know Heavenly Father called him to guide us. I know what he says is what the Lord is saying to us. I am so grateful to have a prophet on the Earth! I am grateful to be able to see him and hear him and know he is a real prophet!
I am so thankful for the Holy Ghost, which testifies to me of all true things. I have felt it in my life so many times and I appreciate that! I have felt it many times this weekend. It is wonderful!

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
This is my favorite hymn! It speaks words straight from my heart.
Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.
This is my interpretation of the words:
Come... be near me, come to me, help me.
Thou Fount of every blessing... my Heavenly Father, my creator, my source of everything I have or love or hope to be.
Tune... align, fix, adjust
my heart... the center of me, the place where my desires dwell
to sing... to make words beautiful
Thy grace;... Thy good will, favor, beauty
Streams of mercy... steady flow of forgiveness, compassion, love
never ceasing... never ending, always constant
call for... need, demand, require
songs of loudest praise... songs of glory, a heart felt prayer
Teach me... help me learn, show me
some melodious sonnet... a beautiful poem in music
Sung by flaming tongues above... songs of angels, heavenly hosts
Praise the mount!... give thanks for the atonement, sacrifice
I'm fixed upon it... my focus, my attention
Mount of Thy redeeming love... Gethsemane, sacrifice, unconditional love

Grattitude
I am very grateful for my sweet children. They are each so beautiful and happy and talented and help me learn more about myself.
I am so grateful for my friends. So many of them are spiritual giants and do amazing things!
I am so grateful for the scriptures. Such faith! Such mighty miracles! Such insight!
I am so grateful for my Savior! I know He knows me and my trials and my hopes and my desires and my failings. I know He loves me. I know He died so I could be with my Father again. I know He loves me that much!
I am so grateful for this life to learn and grow and repent and do it all over again!
I am so grateful for hope! I am grateful that the sun comes up everyday and new wonderful things await! I am so grateful for the future of my children... what unbelievable things they will see and do and help with!
Truly amazing what the Lord has blessed us with!

What Would Jesus Do?
So I had this thought the other day.... What would Jesus do if he had the Internet?
...or a cell phone? ...or a blog? ...or the ability to get on a plane and visit anywhere in the world?
...or Noah? ...or David? ...or Joseph Smith? ... or Alma? ... or Captain Moroni?
...how would the scriptures be different? ...how many more lives would have been changed? ...how many more miracles would there have been? ...how many more amazing stories of faith would we know?
They had nothing of what we consider normal life... indoor plumbing, comfy couches, refrigerators, disposable diapers, tennis shoes, instant messaging, microwaves, dishwashers, cars, televisions, digital pictures, scanners, wikipedia, google, YouTube, you name it! Yet, their lives were happy. They had the gospel! They lived the gospel. They shared the gospel. They loved the gospel. Some even died for the gospel.
Should our lives be any different? We have the gospel. What potential we have to live it, to share it, to love it. How many lives can we change? How many miracles can we help make happen? Can we be one more amazing story of faith?
